Current Projects

Guildhall Management
Menter Aberteifi worked in partnership with Cardigan Building Preservation Trust, to undertake restoration of the Guildhall, Cardigan, raising and managing £1.3 million of funding, bringing this much loved building back into full use as a multi-purpose community centre, corporate & private venue and community gallery. Menter Aberteifi now manages the Guildhall, with an office in the building. We have recently brought the Market Hall into the portfolio and a feasibility study has been carried out on the restoration of the building.

Cardigan River & Food Festival
Cardigan’s River & Food Festival has grown to attract thousands of people to the town every year. Now in its eighteenth year, our objective remains the same, to celebrate the quality and diversity of the superb local independent food producers that abound in Wales.

Tourism Marketing
Menter Aberteifi has been actively involved in promoting the local area to tourists for over ten years. Our website is a highly ranked comprehensive tourism site, under constant development.

Dros Y Tonnau
Over the Waves is a Menter Aberteifi project that draws together the rich maritime heritage of south west Ceredigion and the Lower Teifi Valley. Working with communities we are highlighting local heritage on interpretation panels and creating heritage trails. The information gathered will help to build a website dedicated to the maritime heritage of the area.

Digital Heritage Station
Menter Aberteifi has worked with the People’s Collection Wales and Cardigan’s 2010 Local History Group to develop a local archive of historical photographs and documents.
